05/02/2026, Important Schedule for Graduate School and Graduation Clearance (Semester 114-2)

Dear To-be-Graduated Students,
 

Please pay close attention to the deadlines for the degree examination and graduation clearance this semester (Semester 114-2) to ensure your graduation proceeds smoothly.

1. Master's Degree Examination Application:

Application period: From the first day of registration until June 1, 2026 (deadline extended due to the Dragon Boat Festival holiday).

Log in to the departmental system and complete the application. Submit the following documents before the deadline using the latest forms:

1. Degree Examination Application Form
2. List of Examination Committee Members
3. Thesis Abstract
4. Official Transcript
5. Proof of English graduation requirement or approved exemption
6. Certificate of completion for Academic Research Ethics Education.

2. Thesis Originality Check

Before the oral defense, complete the plagiarism/originality check and apply for library verification. On the day of the defense, provide the Thesis Originality Checklist, the library verification email, and the complete originality report to the committee.

3. Academic Ethics Requirement

Students must complete at least six hours of online Academic Research Ethics Education and pass the final assessment before applying for the degree examination.

4. Co-supervision

If a co-advisor is appointed in addition to the primary advisor, the co-advisor must submit an independent evaluation score during the oral defense. The final score will be averaged accordingly.

Other Important Dates

• Degree examinations may be held after approval of the application until July 31, 2026.
• Deadline to withdraw a degree examination application: July 31, 2026.
• Graduation clearance deadline: August 24, 2026 (subject to the official academic calendar announcement).
